Cannot access file

Question

An error dialog appears at random intervals explaining that the application cannot access a certain file. This can be any program file.

Answer

The error message indicates that the program being run cannot access/read the table being requested. This sometimes occurs for the following reasons:

• File server security privileges.
• File server being offline.
• Server side and/or client side anti-virus software file locking.
• UNC paths being used to run the EzyWine application.
